FOR STUDENTS

ELIGIBILITY

Students must:

• Be enrolled in grades 9 - 12.
• Be at risk of leaving school prior to graduation or at risk of academic failure due to the lack of self-improvement strategies.
• Set goals and outline self-improvement strategies.
• Meet with your educator(s) at minimum once per month to discuss your progress.

THE CHALLENGE

Participating students are asked to show improvement in their school performance and are monitored by the educators for approximately three and a half months in four different areas:

Attendance
Arrives to class on time. Attends class regularly.

Academics
Completes assignments on time and with care. Uses class time effectively.

Commitment to Self
Takes responsibility for own actions and learning. Strives to lead a healthy and active life.

Commitment to Others
Shows respect towards others. Shows a commitment to helping others.
